Downloading and Installing Draftworx (Desktop) ​

What it is: The process of downloading the Draftworx Desktop installer from the Draftworx website and installing it on your computer.

What it's for ​

Before you can use Draftworx Desktop, you need to download and install it. During installation you choose which country templates to include, and at first launch you enter your license key to activate the software — or start a demo if you're evaluating it.

How to do it ​

Download ​

  1. Go to the Draftworx downloads page at draftworx.com/downloads/download.html.
  2. Click Download next to Single Installer for All Supported Regions (this covers all supported regions except Saudi Arabia).
  3. Wait a few minutes for the download to finish.

Install ​

  1. Open the downloaded installation file.
  2. Accept the License Terms and Conditions and click Next.
  3. Choose the Templates you need (e.g., IFRS, IFRS for SMEs) and click Install.
  4. Wait for the installation to complete, then click Finish.

First Launch ​

  1. Double-click the Draftworx icon on your desktop to open the application.
  2. Click OK to confirm the initial settings.
  3. Choose I have a license if you have a license key, or Demo to run in demo mode.
  4. Enter your License Code and click Activate to unlock the full software.

Tip: After activation, follow the Initial Practice Setup guide to configure your practice details and client file paths.
